Information on Stack Overflow

In addition to the combit forums, there are also a number of exchanges regarding our reporting tool on Stack Overflow. Use the tag [listlabel] to find questions and answers regarding the use of List & Label. We’re guests on Stack Overflow, so we’d like to provide you with some tips to help you receive quick and effective answers to your questions from the community.

1. The Right Place for Your Issue

Stack Overflow allows you to ask the community a question to which you need an in-depth answer. However, if the problem you’re experiencing is an error, you should contact our support directly. You can use our feedback portal to submit requests and ideas for future versions. If you have a topic you want to discuss in detail beyond the scope of a single question, then our combit forums are the best place to do so.

2. Asking Questions

Stack Overflow is a Q&A site and not a forum. The difference is that every post should be a single question. For the title, phrase your issue as a question. In the post itself, give further details on the issue as required, such as tests conducted so far, limiting factors, research conducted, etc. Use the formatting options to make your post easy to read. Stack Overflow has a number of good posts on how to properly phrase questions and how to format posts.

3. Don’t Forget to Tag

Always add the [listlabel] tag and any other relevant tags to your post. This will help grab the attention of developers with that particular area of expertise. That way, you can increase the chances of your question being found and answered.

4. Help Others

Even if you are entirely new to List & Label, you can still be of help to others. Vote for questions that are important to you. Or mark answers that you found useful.
