Constance, October 16, 2025 – combit is presenting the next generation of its reporting component for software development with List & Label 31. For the first time, a fully cross-platform .NET engine enables seamless report execution across all major systems including Windows, Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android. “List & Label Cross Platform is a game-changer. Software developers can now rely on a unified reporting solution without having to worry about compatibility,” emphasizes Jochen Bartlau, Managing Director and Head of Development List & Label. Existing Windows applications will also benefit significantly: List & Label Cross Platform increases print speed by up to five times. At the same time, the API and project structures of the classic edition can be reused with ease.

In addition to the new cross-platform approach, List & Label 31 delivers several major enhancements:

• AI integration in reporting: With the AI$() function, artificial intelligence is directly integrated into reporting. Software developers can automate translations, text summarizations, or suggestions using simple prompts – powered by Microsoft Semantic Kernel.
• Improved performance in the Web Report Designer (WRD): A completely reworked DataTree technology delivers higher performance, especially for large data sources. Starting with the first service pack, set to release by year’s end, pivot/crosstabs can also be created directly within the WRD.
• Support for current e-invoicing standards: The new PDF export will support the current e-invoicing standard ZUGFeRD 2.3. Additionally, the new PDF rendering engine ensures more precise reproduction of embedded documents.
